Sporting Clays Shoot

Breaking Clays for Scouts shoot will provide the necessary funds to ensure that the high-quality Scouting programs continue to provide a platform for our youth to develop character traits and leadership skills that they will use all their lives. We are also very pleased that Scouting teaches shooting sports and respect for firearms is introduced at an early age to our Scouts.

Breaking Clays for Scouts – Thank You for a Great Event!

The 2025 Breaking Clays for Scouts Shoot at the scenic Shenandale Gun Club was an incredible success! We were blessed with perfect weather, breathtaking views, and a day filled with fun, fellowship, and great competition.

From seasoned shooters to first-timers, participants enjoyed testing their skills across multiple stations, taking part in our beginner’s clinic, and sharing meals together. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and participants, this event raised vital funds to directly support the Virginia Headwaters Council, Scouting America, and the youth we serve across our communities.

Thank You to Our Sponsors
A special thank you to our Eagle Scout, Life Scout, Star Scout, Tenderfoot, Lunch, Awards, and Station Sponsors whose support made this event possible. Your partnership ensures that Scouting continues to thrive in our communities.

We look forward to seeing you back on the course in 2026!
