Scouting America Troop 1029 was the first female troop chartered in Monticello District of the Virginia Headwaters Council. While we do many joint activities with Troop 1028, we are committed to remaining a female unit. This allows for additional youth leadership opportunities and helps ensure all genders have an equal voice when the Troops plan their adventures.
