Another summer at Camp Shenandoah has officially wrapped up, and it was our strongest since before the pandemic. More than 1,300 Scouts, leaders, volunteers, and family members came through our gates this year—filling camp with the energy that makes Shenandoah feel like home, and sending everyone back with a week’s worth of memories. This summer we had troops from all over Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Florida.
DINO CAMP was TREX-CELLENT, the new Minor League Program gave older youth a first taste of what it takes to be future staff, and the Wednesday evening GLO-A Party sponsored by Shenandoah Lodge 258 became the breakout highlight of the summer!
Thank You
Camp Shenandoah means so much to so many people and it is through the efforts of so many that Camp Shenandoah continues to be a home for Scouts. Thanks again to all the leaders who took their time and money to support their units, thank you to the parents who support their scouts and letting them come to camp, and thank you to all the scouts! Camp Shenandoah wouldn’t be a Scout Camp without all the scouts.
Looking Ahead
We’re already looking forward to 2027, and to finding new ways to improve camp while keeping the traditions that make it home. If you would like to be a part of the team for next year, apply for staff or learn more about camp staff! https://www.campshenandoah.
We are offering ScoutsBSA units the chance to LOCK IN for 2027 with our LOCK IN price. If a unit puts a $100 deposit down for 2027 before September 15, they are guaranteed the LOCK IN price. For more information and to submit a deposit for 2027, please click: https://scoutingevent.com/763-
Thank you for being part of the Camp Shenandoah family. We’ll see you at camp.
