T.C. Dickerson III
November 7, 1936 – July 31, 2026
We remember with gratitude the life and service of T.C. Dickerson III, Eagle Scout, longtime Scouter, mentor, and friend whose dedication left a lasting mark on generations of young people. For an extraordinary 72 years, T.C. remained active in Scouting, sharing his time, wisdom, and leadership while living out his belief in the values of character, service, and helping young people become their best. A past VAHC Council Commissioner, Shenandoah Lodge Adviser, and longtime Executive Board member, T.C. is remembered by fellow Scouters for his kind and steady presence and as a Virginia gentleman in every sense. Beyond Scouting, T.C. devoted his life to education and community service, retiring as a Superintendent of Schools. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Sarah, the entire Dickerson family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside T.C.
