Greetings Mountain Valley!
As the new program year for Cubs kicks off, I want to thank everyone on their initial recruiting efforts for the year. Keep it up! Recruiting is not only for Cubs though; Troops and Crews should continue their recruiting efforts as well. Recruitment is year round, don’t forget. Bring your friends to a meeting or activity. Let them know how fun scouting is and can be!!
- We have a new EMS Exploring Post starting up in the Lexington area. This is great to hear! Hats off to Quentin Peach on all the hard work over the past few years getting that Post started.
As the season changes, remember to plan and dress accordingly for your outdoor activities. I’m looking forward to seeing all the troops compete at this year’s Apple Harvest in a couple weeks. Who will conquer the arena?
Happy Scouting,
Jeff Teagarden
