Camp Shenandoah

WINTER IS COMING

Camp Shenandoah’s First-Ever Winter Camp!

January 16–18, 2026

Camp Shenandoah is kicking off a brand-new tradition. Winter Camp is coming for the first time ever this January! From January 16–18, 2026, Scouts are invited to experience camp in a whole new way. Winter Camp offers a fresh take on the outdoor experience, with a weekend of camping, fellowship, and cold-weather adventure.

While the full program is still being finalized, Scouts can expect:

  • A selection of Merit Badges tailored for the season
  • Opportunities to build skills and confidence in a unique environment
  • The chance to be part of something totally new at Camp Shenandoah

We’re also looking for Staff and Volunteers!

If you’re interested in helping teach a Merit Badge, lead an activity, or support the event behind the scenes—as part of our cook crew, trading post team, or general support staff—we’d love to have you on board. You can reach the Winter Camp Director Robert Clemmer, robert.clemmer@scouting.org, or Winter Camp Program Director Tracey Stakem, tgstakem@gmail.com.

Registration opens this fall! More details, including staff interest forms and program announcements, will be shared soon. Be part of the launch of a brand-new Shenandoah tradition!
